Various Ways to Route the Serpentine Belt

SN-95 Belt Lengths
When going with a shorter belt, it is recommended to try several sizes and find the one that fits best and still allows plenty of tensioner play as the belt stretches. Each car and setup is slightly different.
- Stock belt length is 6-rib 105.5"
- To bypass the smog pump with underdrive pullies, a belt length of 89" is typically used.
- Putting a new belt out in the sun or using a blowdryer to heat it will help it stretch.
SN-95 Pullies [1]
Alternator, PS pump, AC, crank pulley, and smog pump turn clockwise. Idler, tensioner, and water pump pulleys turn counterclockwise.
If you're in any doubt, the grooved pulleys turn clockwise and the flat pulleys turn counterclockwise.
