94-95 Mustangs Tuning Adaptive Strategy
From Mustang-Tech
Overview
Adaptive strategy is the term used for the cars ability to analyze how your car runs over time and make adjustments to compensate for changing conditions and aging sensors.
While dialing in a MAF curve, it is beneficial to disable Adaptive Strategy so that you can see exactly what your EEC is seeing, without any on the fly adjustments taking place.
Disabling Adaptive Strategy
| Scalar | Value | Description |
|---|---|---|
| ACT Maximum for Adaptive Control | 0 | Maximum ACT temperature that adaptive is enabled. Setting the value to 0 effectively disable adaptive strategy. |
| ACT Minimum for Adaptive Control | 254 | Minimum ACT temperature that adaptive is enabled. Setting this to 254 effectively disables adaptive strategy. |
| Adaptive Control Maximum | 0.5 | Sets the maximum amount of adaptive learning. > 0.5 is richer, < 0.5 is leaner |
| Adaptive Control Minimum | 0.5 | Sets the minimum amount of adaptive learning. > 0.5 is richer, < 0.5 is leaner |
Forcing Open Loop
Set the LOAD values of the function "Open Loop Load Limit vs ECT" to "0".
This will put the car in open loop when the load is zero or higher.
